2000s: Evolving the Brand
In 2000, Delta opened a plant in Panyu, China, which supplies Delta's international product lines to Asian markets.
The growing involvement of the consumer in the decision-making process caused Delta Faucet Company to align its brands more on end-user needs, rather than on distribution channels.
To support this change, Delta revamped its corporate image in 2001 with the introduction of a new water drop logo and new brand positioning.
While still an important value player on the retail shelf, the Peerless brand was introduced to the trade as a low-cost solution for multi-family projects.
At the same time, growth in the high-end builder and wholesaler showroom markets prompted the introduction of Brizo® an upscale kitchen and bath collection.
During this time, Delta launched a series of stylish and innovative products. The Victorian® Collection was introduced during this time frame and remains one of Delta's best selling faucets today. In addition, H2Okinetic Technology™ was introduced. This innovation allowed Delta Faucet Company to reinvent the showering experience by creating a warmer, more luxurious spray that blankets the body, giving the feeling of a high-flow shower with less water. Delta also introduced its revolutionary MultiChoice™ Universal Valve, which allows users to easily change the shower function, style and appearance without altering the plumbing behind the wall.
