Conner Prairie Living History Museum is where stories and memories from America's past are experienced today and preserved for the future. A village from 1836 called Prairietown, an 1816 Lenape Indian camp and the William Conner Estate, one of the first brick homes in Indiana, are among the exhibits. The Eiteljorg Museum of Native American and Western Art is one of only two such museums East of the Mississippi. The Children's Museum of Indianapolis is one of the largest museums of its kind in the world. It features hands-on exhibits devoted to physical science, natural science, history, world culture and the arts.
